Cleve Pike
Founder, CEO and President
- 13 years as CEO of Sage Energy Partners and proud member of the Northern Ute Indian Tribe.
- Over 35 years of experience in the energy industry focused on Indian Country in the United States and Canada.
- Founding management team member of private equity-backed Ute Energy, LLC in 2005, which sold to Crescent Point Energy (NYSE: CPG) for approximately $800 million.
- Advises operators on UTERO and Tribal sovereign governance on the complexity of doing business on Tribal lands.
- Long-standing relationship with the Ute Tribal Business Committee, who sets policy for the 2,500 Native Americans residing within the exterior bounds of the 4.5 million acres of the Uintah and Ouray Reservation.
- Born, raised and resides in Roosevelt, Utah.
- Son to the late Stewart Pike, who was the longest running Tribal Business Council member and influential leader in Indian Country.
Steve Crower
CFO, Secretary and Treasurer
- Energy Investment Banking: Experience includes roles with Capital One Securities, Inc. (NYSE: COF) in New Orleans, Cowen & Company (NYSE: COHN) in New York, and most recently Coker & Palmer Securities in Denver. Participated in $4.7 billion in public equity financings and more than $100 million in M&A transactions focused on the North American energy sector. Registered with the SEC since 2003 and currently holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63, and 79 licenses.
- Capital Markets & Energy Technology: Worked with the team at Network International (Nasdaq: LQDT) in Houston to raise $54 million to finance, develop, and scale an online procurement marketplace for surplus oilfield equipment.
- Energy Operations & Strategy: Held operational and financial roles at TechnipFMC (NYSE: FTI) in Houston, a global leader in subsea and surface energy technology, working directly with senior leadership to support global business strategy development. Assigned to the Shell Energy and Baker Hughes Global Alliance teams.
- Project Finance & Development: Served as a financial analyst on the Terra Nova Offshore Development in Newfoundland, Canada working with Kongsberg Offshore in Norway, Terra Nova is an oil field development project based off the coast of Newfoundland, discovered in 1984 by Petro-Canada. Terra Nova is the first harsh environment development in North America to use a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel,
